Team Barracuda Families,

Registration closes tonight and we now have 2 weeks of practice under our belts.  We are excited about the development of our team and are looking forward to showcasing our camaraderie and skills at our first competitive meet, which is just over a week away!

This coming Wednesday, June 10th, we will hold a Practice Meet at Riverfront Swim Club beginning at 6pm.  Please treat this as an "official" meet and make plans to attend so we can document times for our swimmers prior to finalizing race assignments for our meet at Smithfield on Saturday, June 13th.  We will also be doing a full home meet "setup" and "takedown," as well as assigning volunteer roles so we can work out any kinks and familiarize our new families with the process.  However, we will not swim all 67 events so we can get everyone out of there by 9pm.

RSVPs are now open for the Practice Meet and will need to be finalized by midnight on Monday, June 8th.  Please use this link to RSVP for your swimmer for the Practice Meet on Wednesday evening and feel free to RSVP for all other meets at your convenience:

Signup Calendar - Team Barracuda

We will not use the Signup Calendar for Volunteer roles, just swimmer RSVPs for meets.  

It is critical that we receive swimmer and separate volunteer RSVPs at least 2 days before each meet because we have to coordinate with the other coaching staff to finalize the events 1 night before each meet.  Our coaching staff and Volunteer Coordinator need this time to put us in the best position to compete and run a successful meet.

Please keep in mind the new requirement, previously communicated, where missing a volunteer assignment without finding your own replacement will result in a fee being assessed and due before your swimmer can participate in the next meet.  

Regular practices will be held next week, and we will hold practice on Wednesday morning as scheduled.
