Good morning, Team Barracuda Families!

Practices begin tomorrow at 8:00am and 7:00pm at Riverfront Swim Club. Please refer to the website https://teambarracudas.swimtopia.com/ for the times specific to the age group of your swimmer. We look forward to seeing you!

If you haven’t yet registered, or are on the fence and want to get a few practices in before deciding, your swimmer is welcome to attend practices until the registration cutoff of June 5th.  However, regular registration ends tonight, so the registration fee increases by $50 (to a total of $75) per family for any registrations after tonight.  The per swimmer fee remains $100. 

Now let’s welcome the fourth member of our coaching staff this year, Abby Crystal!  Many of you already know Abby from lifeguarding at Riverfront Swim Club for the last 4 years, teaching swim lessons for the last two years, and swimming for Team Barracuda.  As a recent graduate (last week!) of Nansemond Suffolk Academy where she was a 4 time State Qualifying swimmer, she’s looking forward to coaching this season.  She will be off to Virginia Tech in August to study Construction Engineering, but will continue to lifeguard and team swim lessons, in addition to coaching for Team Barracuda.
