Hello everyone.  Thanks to those who have already registered to swim with Team Barracuda this summer.  We have more than 50 swimmers as of today and are well on our way to our 100 swimmer goal.  If you have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible.  Practices begin 2 weeks from today!

Continuing with our 2026 coach introductions, please welcome Preston DeFeo!  Preston is a rising senior at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy where he holds several school records and was a state finalist and conference champion in the 100Y Freestyle for the 2025/2026 season. Preston is very passionate about swimming and improving his teammates technique and stroke. He has been swimming club for East Coast Aquatic Team (ECAT) for two years and has qualified for meets up and down the East Coast. Preston is also a lifeguard at the Riverfront Swim Club and is swim instructor certified. He is very excited to help coach Team Barracuda this season, where he will also compete in the 15-18 age group and hopes to break some WTSA records!
